Dental Emergencies

If you have a dental emergency in normal practice opening hours then please follow the instructions below

Patients with urgent problems are requested to telephone the practice as early as possible in the day.

We make every effort to accommodate patients with pain and problems as soon as possible.

Every effort is made to see a patient with problems at a time convenient to them; however for emergency treatment the pre-booked schedule may not always allow for this.

Patients of the practice are given priority over people who are not regular patients with regard to allocation of emergency appointments.

The emergency appointment will be to assess the problem and help alleviate the current discomfort, if further treatment is required then you may need to attend for further appointments.

If your dental emergency is out of normal practice hours and you can’t wait until we are next open then please call NHS 111 for further advice and help. They will advise you further and if needed will refer you to the on call emergency dentist.
